At ONION 2 I had no problems at all, and I love the place. It was brilliant and so affordable. I paid VND 140,000 a night and was upgraded to a VIP room when I arrived. Everything worked. Before the Onion, I’d stayed somewhere decent but at more than twice the price. Maybe it was because the Reception Mgr kept telling me, six times, that I hadn’t told the earlier Reception that I was staying. I’d put my laundry in earlier that day, but that apparently didn’t count as saying, “Yes, I AM STAYING.” She wouldn’t listen. I reviewed THAT OTHER HOTEL earlier.
