Silver Moon Villa Hoi An

A quiet little spot in the city, with a cool pool and breakfast. It’s just far enough off the main road to stay really peaceful, but still a 10/10 for walkability. Great value, warm hospitality, high ceilings, a roomy feel, and a comfortable bed. It felt homey, and the staff were kind and the place was clean. Hard to believe you can find this much for the price. I’m looking forward to coming back.

We had a lovely four-night stay. The beds were comfy, the rooms were spacious and had balconies, and the pool looked clean and well cared for. We booked three activities through moon at a great price. Mornings could be a little noisy.

The final room was the worst part. There was no air conditioner remote, and the bathroom had no proper door, just a flimsy makeshift arrangement with no privacy. The whole place felt low quality and uncomfortable. I’d booked a $25 room expecting something basic but acceptable. Instead, on arrival I was told there were no rooms, even though my booking was confirmed. Nobody apologized or explained properly. They just tried to send me to another place nearby. That first replacement was smaller, poorly kept, and had a heavy musty smell. It felt dirty and neglected, so I refused to stay there. Then they moved me again to a hotel 1 km away. By then it seemed they were just trying to get rid of me however they could. This was, without exaggeration, my worst hotel experience in Hoi An. The way it was handled felt deceptive, unprofessional, and disrespectful to guests. 1/5. Avoid unless you want to be misled, moved around, and disappointed.

Moon was a wonderful host, always ready to help with a smile, and the staff made me feel at home from day one. The rooms were clean, the pool was lovely, and the service was outstanding. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Hoi An.
