I had booked at KAKA hotel and paid a deposit in advance, but the hotel canceled my reservation to make room for a VIP guest extending their stay. It was very unfair and left me scrambling for somewhere else at the last minute, ruining my plans. I felt regular guests mattered less, despite having a confirmed booking and deposit paid. There was no proper apology or compensation. A hotel should honor reservations made ahead of time. Based on this experience, I'd urge others to think carefully before booking. The service was far below what I expected, and I won't return.

We spent a month in a two-bedroom apartment with a river view. The staff were friendly, the room was cozy and had a kitchen, and it was cleaned regularly. Recommend.

My family has now been to Kaka Hotel twice during Da Nang's international fireworks week. We were delivering incense sticks, buds, and powder from Tuệ Tâm Feng Shui in Da Nang, and chose the hotel to watch the show. The rooftop terrace is high and open, with the fireworks right across from it. You can feel each one as it falls, which is a fantastic experience. Our first visit didn't let us enjoy it as much, but this time was much better. The staff were attentive and enthusiastic, and spoke gently. I'll definitely come back next year when Da Nang has its fireworks display.

The staff member was very kind, but the smell in the room was awful when I first walked in. The layout meant I couldn't open the window, so I had to air it out through the door. It was just okay, a place to stay for the low price.
