We were there for eight nights and couldn’t have been happier. The staff really did live up to the other reviews: the receptionists were incredibly sweet and helpful, and the man cooking the free breakfast each morning was a ray of sunshine. He made delicious food. The place felt like a home away from home. It’s in a quiet part of town, but cafes and restaurants are easy to walk to. Free bikes made reaching the beach or ancient town simple. Our room was clean, with a good ceiling fan and strong AC. They brought clean towels and two free waters each day, and both times we used the laundry service, our clothes came back fresh and clean. 10/10.

The location and view are superb. The clean pool was a real plus, and the setting avoids Old Town’s chaos without chickens waking you up. It sounds like the ideal combination, but after 10 nights across two visits, and stays in over 20 Hoi An hotels in three years, I’m not sure the good outweighs the bad. Rooms were cleaned every two days. I mostly ordered Grab, so rubbish built up; fresh towels left outside each morning were thoughtful, but at $30 a night I expected daily cleaning. Breakfast was much the same each day. I liked the option of a made-to-order omelette, but the rest was basic, and empty juice or fruit wasn’t replenished. Staff kept trying to sell outside services, including tailors and Grab drivers. I understand they want commission, but being asked every day why I wasn’t using their drivers or shopping at the store they recommended left a bad taste. The shower rarely stayed hot for more than two minutes, which wasn’t great after a long day. I felt I overpaid and couldn’t enjoy the stay as much as I’d hoped, so I probably wouldn’t return.
The pool was one of the best parts, and it was very well maintained. The included breakfast was lovely too, with a buffet plus custom dishes prepared by a chef. The rooms matched what was advertised, and I liked having the toilet and shower in separate spaces. Sunkissed Paddy was clean and well cared for, with really friendly, helpful staff. It sits at the edge of Hoi An, so it’s quieter while still close to the center. Having free bikes available made getting into town much easier. A great stay in one of Vietnam’s loveliest cities.
The peaceful spot is only a short ride from Hoi An. The staff were warm and friendly, and I had a clean room and a nice breakfast. Really nice hotel.
Breakfast was simple, fresh, and satisfying, though there wasn’t a huge selection. Free bikes were a great bonus and made exploring the town and countryside easy. The staff were kind and helpful, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Sunkissed Paddy Hoi An Villa sits between the city and the rice fields, so you get both. It’s close enough to Hoi An’s center to explore easily, while far enough out to enjoy quiet nights. It was a comfortable, chill place to stay, and I’d recommend it.
