It’s clean, and the amenities were all there as described. The air conditioning worked well and there was warm water. We had brought our own toilet roll, so its absence wasn’t an issue; I’m sure they’d have some if you asked. It’s close to the center, with lots of nice coffee and banh mi shops nearby.

I wouldn’t stay here again. The room was clean but musty, and while there were no obvious signs of mold, the bathroom had no ventilation. It was too noisy to leave the windows open, and the place was noisy in general, partly because some windows opened onto the hallway. The bed and shower were just about acceptable, and the towels smelled after one use.

The landlord is friendly and easygoing, and runs a breakfast shop nearby, which is handy when you don’t want to go far. Service was quite good, and our room was clean, nice, and well equipped. The room and homestay prices are reasonable for what you get.
