Truong Thinh Homestay

The host was caring and helpful, even giving me a ride around beautiful Hoi An and supporting me with personal matters beyond what he had to do. The family made the place feel very homey. There are motorbike rentals, free bicycles, and car bookings to Da Nang, which made things convenient. It's near the Old Town, a few kilometers from the beach, and has a stunning view over the rice fields. I totally recommend staying here!

Long and his family made my friend and me feel very welcome. They were friendly, generous hosts, and the place is close to Hoi An Old Town, with lovely rice fields just behind it. We borrowed bicycles for free and rode to the beach in about 20 to 25 minutes. Long also helped us find a sleeper bus back to Saigon at a price lower than we saw elsewhere. We left happy and would visit his family again if we return to Vietnam and Hoi An.

During my three months in Vietnam, this was the best homestay I stayed at. Long is incredibly kind and generous, and will go out of his way to help. The rooms are lovely, the atmosphere is great, and you look out over rice fields. He let us use the local bikes for free, which made rides around Old City easy. I’d recommend staying here if you’re in Hoi An.

I first came across this place by chance and now stay here whenever I’m back in Hoi An. The family who runs it are wonderful, always ready with help or advice about places to visit and tickets. Their home is downstairs, while guest rooms are on the floors above, so you get plenty of privacy and a nice feel for the local community. It’s quiet and well priced, with decent rooms. You’re outside the busy, noisy-at-night center, but the night market and beach are still close. Highly recommended.
