The owner required full payment in advance and wouldn't refund us despite the conditions. The property was unacceptably unhygienic, and what we found was drastically different from the photos and description online. There was dirt, excessive damp and mold across the ceiling, walls and bathroom. The smell was unbearable, and one bed was stained with urine.

The villas seem to be undergoing renovation, but they are still being listed for rent, for example on booking.com. People in the central building then insisted that I cancel my booking, without telling me beforehand. I had to find another hotel room. Luckily, I hadn't arrived late at night.

I advise everyone to avoid booking this property. Booking.com shows lovely photos and an 8.3 rating, but in my experience that rating is completely untrue. The whole place was damp, with mold on the walls, ceilings and in the shower. One bed was flooded, and I have no idea what caused it. The owner demanded cash, then disappeared. We never saw her again, and she refused a refund, so we had to find another hotel.
