Muong Thanh Luxury Nhat Le Hotel

The staff were kind and helpful throughout, and the location made getting around easy. There are lots of nearby restaurants with fresh, tasty seafood, and it's about a 45+ minute drive to Phong Nha–Kẻ Bàng National Park. The hotel also has a nice beach view, though the beach and nearby area had scattered litter, which was disappointing. Inside, the hotel was clean and well maintained, but the cigarette smell in the lobby and hallways was noticeable. Breakfast had a decent range and tasted good, though the quality could be better. I got a bad stomachache and diarrhea after drinking the milk, which concerned me. The staff and convenient location helped make the stay comfortable, but the smell, food quality, and litter did affect the experience.

The hotel is right in front of the beach, and the breakfast had enough options for vegetarians. It was clean, and everyone was proactive about helping. A special thank you to Daphne Le Dong Hoi, who went out of her way to help us: after we left a jacket at Dong Hoi airport on our way back to India, she drove there herself and brought it to us.

Really enjoyed staying here. The food could use a little work, but the bed was probably the most comfortable one I've slept in Vietnam.

Nhat Le Beach is only a few steps away from Muong Thanh Nhat Le Hotel, and it's a peaceful place to walk, swim, or sit by the sea. The hotel is also well placed between the beach and the city center, with lovely views, and works as a base for Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park or nearby historical sites. Rooms are modern, clean, and spacious, with comfortable beds and daily housekeeping. They have air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, minibars, and free Wi-Fi. Some look out over the ocean or river, which is especially nice at sunrise or sunset. Facilities include an outdoor pool, fitness center, spa, and a restaurant serving Vietnamese and Western dishes. Breakfast has fresh fruit, hot dishes, and local specialties, though the quality and flavor could be better. Staff are generally friendly and attentive and try to help, even if their English varies. For the location, comfortable rooms, and basic amenities, it offers good value. It's not a luxury resort, but it's a pleasant, relaxing place to stay in Quang Binh.
