The natural views were amazing, and there was no city noise, though you can hear nature sounds, so light sleepers might want earplugs. We had a scooter, which made the location great for getting to different places. The owner who runs the place was friendly and helpful, the rooms were comfortable with the basics, and we really enjoyed our two nights. The pool was being thoroughly cleaned while we were there.

The hosts were so welcoming that I felt right at home, and the food was plentiful and really tasty. I also loved the gorgeous, peaceful natural setting. The rooms and beds were comfortable too. I really enjoyed my time here and warmly recommend this homestay.

We visited in the off-season and nearly had the whole place to ourselves, with a host who was always ready to help. It made for one of my best hospitality experiences so far. The rental moped was available on-site. Keep in mind that it's remote if Bai-Dinh isn't your main destination, and the main Ninh-Binh sights take another 20-30 minutes to reach. For transport connections, you'll definitely need a tourist company to arrange pick-up and drop-off.

It's a little way from the center of Tam coc, but the scenery is lovely and the owners are super friendly, just like the hostel's name suggests. Our room was spacious and beautiful, with comfortable beds and a nice Western shower. The homestay food was good, and they even offer free karaoke. Great place! (:

We arrived without a booking, and the owner said they were full even though Booking showed more than three empty, bookable rooms. The whole house looked empty, with every room free and the doors open. When we showed her the available rooms on Booking, she immediately closed them and said we couldn't book. She gave us no explanation. I can imagine that if we'd booked ahead, she might have cancelled and said there'd been a system mistake. Pretty strange and unfriendly place. Don't go here. Plan your trip with another hotel instead.
