Jenny is Dao, and she’ll happily tell you about her people with a big smile if you ask. She made us feel so welcome. We stayed one night before the Serenity Ha Giang loop tour, leaving our large bags there and taking only what we needed. After the tour, she even offered us a room to shower and freshen up before our trip back to Hanoi. I asked where to get dinner, and she suggested pizza. I brought a whole pizza back for her as a thank-you, and she was really grateful. The rooms and hotel could use a refresh, but I can’t take a star off because of Jenny. She’s such a sweet person, always smiling and making sure guests are comfortable.

Jasmine at reception was so attentive and friendly. The hotel itself is nice and clean, and I’d definitely recommend it.

We came back because the people were so nice and the location was convenient. The manager was especially welcoming and lovely. Our room was fine for a night, though nothing special, and the bathrooms sometimes smelled. The hotel is being renovated now, so things aren’t quite finished. We had a mountain view, and we think the place could be very nice once the work is done, probably in about three months.

We were only there briefly, but had a great experience. The owners were so welcoming that they showed us our room at 4 am when our sleeper bus arrived. Breakfast was good too, especially the home-grown bananas. Recommended!
