FLC Halong Bay Golf Club & Luxury Resort

Set in the middle of a golf course at the top of Ha Long, this is probably the most beautiful resort I've stayed in. You can see both the bay and the rest of the city from there. My room was spacious, comfortable, and had an amazing bay view. The staff were helpful with requests, and breakfast had plenty of Vietnamese and Western options. If you get the chance, play the course too. The views around it are amazing.

We planned a 7-day visit but stayed for 8 because the food was so good and the service was excellent. Having lived in Vietnam with my family for over four years and visited Ha Long more than 7 or 8 times, I can say this is one of the best hotels in the bay. It's a great choice for families, with comfortable rooms, kind staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. The food and views are both wonderful, and there's a wide choice of cuisines: Italian, Vietnamese, American, and Indian. Prices are reasonable and worth it, especially since there's no need to go out looking for restaurants. The managers deserve credit for the hospitality. On our last day at Olive Restaurant, Mr. Daniel understood what we liked and arranged a special Indian-Chinese dish that wasn't on the menu. That kind of care and professionalism really impressed us. Other hotels could learn from it. We also spoke with Mr. Vinnie, the General Manager, and his passion, vision, and leadership clearly show in the hotel's quality and standards. Our family enjoyed the rooms, service, food, and views. We'll come back when we can, and I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ha Long Bay. Thank you ❤️

The bay views were amazing, and our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Staff quickly helped when noisy neighbours disturbed us on the first night, moving us from a connecting room to a quieter one. Still, the hotel felt geared toward large events and parties. An Indian Party by the pool was very loud and continued until 10.30pm, and the hotel hadn't told us it was happening. As a couple, we also struggled to find somewhere in the hotel to eat or have a drink, so we walked 30/40 minutes up and down a very steep hill to find food.

The rooms are large and the hotel has good amenities, including a nice pool and a good breakfast. The bathroom drainage could be better, since water doesn't drain properly.
