The building is old, the air conditioner doesn’t cool, and there were lots of cockroaches and noise. I’m not sure what services people consider important, but calling this a hotel feels off. It would be more accurate to say motel. Keep these things in mind if you’re choosing for yourself.

I had a nice, clean room on the seventh floor, and the staff were accommodating. My only gripe was the small, slow single elevator serving a nine-floor hotel, with a small restaurant on the 9th floor. I’d recommend staying here if you’re visiting Ha Long Bay.

The rooms have average views, but the neighborhood has plenty of seafood stalls to try. The location is also quite handy for the port to Hà Long Bay. It’s a good hotel for a comfortable night’s rest.

The hotel was good, though I found out I was the only person staying in the whole building.
