I didn't stay at the hotel, but the receptionist was very helpful and spoke good English.

The rooms are very nice and clean, and the hotel feels better overall than others in the same price range. The staff were very friendly and helped us arrange bus tickets for our next destination. It's a huge Chinese-style hotel, so the generic look and feel is much like others of that type. I mean that positively: the quality for the price is very good.

Good value for money, in a handy spot close to the markets and sea. It's a typical Chinese-style hotel, with standard modern business rooms that are fine but a little sad. Breakfast had no Western options.

The night market right beside the hotel makes it fun to be around, and I think it's a good place to stay. The room was really nice and clean. The gym looked okay, though the equipment wasn't ready to use yet. I haven't tried the pool, so can't comment on it. I hope they make some changes to the food, with more traditional local dishes and a wider breakfast selection.
