The host is what makes this place special. He welcomed us like friends, not guests, and was always cheerful and ready to help with tours, food recommendations, hidden spots around the island, or just a chat over coffee. We met few people on our travels as warm and kind as him. And the coffee is hard to describe. Each cup feels carefully made, with a beautifully balanced flavor. It was easily the best coffee we had in Vietnam. The smoothies were just as good, fresh and delicious, and worth a stop on their own. The rooms are spacious, bright, spotless, and have comfortable beds and air conditioning that works perfectly. Prices are very affordable for the level of comfort and service, and the location is excellent. If you’re on Cát Bà Island, this is the place to stay. Even if you only come for a smoothie, you might not want to leave. 💛
