Lynnwood Boutique House

We were there for two nights with our three children. The staff were so warm, and the personal attention felt lovely compared with the bigger hotels in the city. We enjoyed the view from the roof terrace, along with the food and drinks. Thank you for the framed picture, a lasting reminder of our stay.

The staff were kind and accommodating, and even let us check in three hours early. Dat's English is very good :) The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the free laundry was handy. Breakfast was free and had more to it than a slice of white bread with sugary jam. You get a lot for your money here. Mornings aren't very quiet, though. It's not on a main road, but it faces a residential square that gets noisy with activity early in the day.

I stayed one night, and two stars is about right. The service was okay, which is the only reason I'm giving it that rating. The toilet didn't work, and when I brushed my teeth, the water tasted unpleasant. I worry it could be bad for health. The facilities were very old and not clean. I don't see how this motel earned such a high rating, and wonder if paid reviewers are behind it. Please don't trust the other reviews. I feel like a victim.

I woke up at the homestay and realized the next day that I'd lost cash. A staff member kindly came with me to the police station and translated while I made a report. But the owner canceled my police report, saying it wasn't their problem and that she didn't want the hotel name in it. Now I can't make a claim when I get home. She was right that she didn't have to help me, but she canceled the report without my consent, as if she were the judiciary, then accused me of bribing the police for 500k. Where did she get that number? She also threatened to take action against me if her business was affected. I'm just a tourist who was victimized. My loss had nothing to do with the owner until she unexpectedly stood in the way of me recovering it. I was going to write a grateful review, but now I caution visitors not to come or repeat my bad experience.
