The hosts were kind and very personal, and breakfast was both great and convenient. They arranged scooters for my husband, another family member, and me to rent, and the scooters were waiting right out front within minutes. We had an amazing stay and I’d happily come back. Our room had a firm, supportive bed, which I loved, a kettle for hot drinks, and a small fridge with a few things supplied by the hotel. The AC was included and worked well, though we hardly needed it. There was plenty of hot water in the shower, and the room was cleaned daily. Rooms ending in -2 have a wonderful view. The hotel is in a quiet part of the island, as other reviewers mentioned. It’s an easy walk to the pier where tours leave, with a few places nearby to get a meal or buy snacks.

We’re in our room now and wanted to write this while we remembered, because we loved staying here. The best part has been the service. The family who runs the place is welcoming, kind, and helpful, and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. They also gave us excellent tips for food and activities. The location is away from the touristy part of the island, which we really like. We’ll absolutely come back.

The bay view is amazing, and you can’t get this view from any other hotel in Cat Ba town. The hotel is in a really quiet area, away from Cat Ba’s noisy center, but it’s only a 15-minute walk away. The staff are friendly, polite, and always ready to help.

We loved how peaceful the area was, away from the engine noise, yet the harbour was close and town was about a 20-minute walk. Our room was spotless, and the bed was comfy. We could also ask for a warmer blanket. The front desk staff were so kind and helpful, and even remembered our breakfast order. We had a fantastic stay.

The front desk host really made our stay. He greeted us with a smile every time, then went beyond a restaurant recommendation by walking us there and helping us order. That kind of care is rare. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well looked after too. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in.
