I’ve never had such awful service at a hotel. I booked a balcony room on Booking.com for 480, but at check-in the staff kept asking what room I’d booked and which one I wanted. When I asked why they weren’t checking the booking code themselves, I showed a picture of the room. Then they demanded 550. I said no, so they called the owner. The owner spoke to me on the phone for an hour without letting me get a word in, insisting I was checking in late. I’d booked for 1 AM on the 20th, but the app only lets you book from the 19th to the 20th. I had to pay extra just to have somewhere to stay, and the owner still complained about my late arrival. Unbelievable. From the owner through to the staff, the service was unprofessional and there was no customer support.

We had traveled a long way and arrived at 2 PM to check in, only to be told there were no rooms, even though we’d booked through the app and received a confirmation email. They sent us to a different place, an old hotel with terrible facilities. Our whole family, including the children, was worn out after the hot journey, and we had to scramble to find somewhere else in the heat. They had our number but never called or sent an app notification. The receptionist said they’d just let us in because there were no rooms, yet we did check in, and the app still showed rooms available. I can’t understand how they handle bookings. The service was TERRIBLE.
