8/10
The staff were super friendly, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and felt luxurious for the reasonable price. The only real annoyance was getting knocks on the door, often very early, asking if we wanted room service. The location was great for the old quarter and other popular sights.

Just outside the old quarter, so the location worked well. The room was a good size and comfortable.

10/10
The room had a slight smell when I first got in, but room service was excellent during my one-night stay. The breakfast was decent too. It's in a prime part of the city and felt like good value for the price.

8/10
The room was nice and large, with a good bed and shower, and everything was very clean. Service was basic. I would've preferred paying after my stay instead of right when I walked in, though they did help me arrange a limousine taxi to Ha long bay.

4/10
Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, but one male staff member tried to rip me off when I asked for help changing my USD into VND after I ran out of local cash. I felt completely let down by the lack of hospitality.
