We ended up finding a room at a lovely homestay nearby, but this check-in was a mess. We waited for hours for replies to our many texts and calls. Just as we were about to give up, a woman walked past with a group of girls and showed them to their room. We politely asked if she was the owner, and she said she wasn’t. She asked about our booking and said she might find us somewhere else, since she thought all the rooms were full. She didn’t know where the owner was or have their contact details. We said we needed to speak to the owner because we couldn’t cancel and didn’t want to leave if we might still have to pay. As we were getting our bags, she ran back and said she might be able to get us a room for the next day. That seemed strange if she wasn’t the owner. We understand mistakes happen, but lying, as we suspect she did, isn’t okay. We wouldn’t recommend staying here.

This was my worst hostel experience ever. On arrival, we showed our booking and were told there was no space, but that we could go to another location. That place was awful. The staff offered little help, didn’t give us a key, and there was nobody on site, so we were left alone. Hygiene was terrible too. It was a bad experience all around.

HORRIBLE, don’t go here. They were overbooked, so we had to move to another location. There was no key, the shower was in the toilet and smelled disgusting, and the staff were no help. Just a bad experience.

AVOID BOOKING THIS HOTEL ON AGODA, YOU MIGHT LOSE YOUR MONEY. I booked through Agoda, but when I arrived there was no room available for my booking and no reception. They also didn’t work with Agoda to refund my booking.

The location is great, about seven minutes from the town centre. I’m on the second floor, but the bathroom is on the fifth.
