I was very disappointed by the cleanliness. The room didn't match the photos, but its appearance wasn't my main concern. The bathroom was filthy and mouldy, with a strong mould smell, and the water pressure was very weak. The hot and cold tap was broken, so I couldn't get warm water. The living room looked clean at first, but I saw small cockroaches and lots of ants. The bedroom was shockingly dirty too. The sheets and blanket hadn't been washed properly, with mould and even what looked like old blood. I asked for cleaning and fresh sheets, but the replacement bedding was just as dirty. The owner should improve the service and clean properly if they want more customers. Paying over 500 thousand vnd per night here was a waste.

I made a video in December 2024 showing how the room I got differed completely from what was advertised. It doesn't live up to the glossy image online. The room was unsanitary and smelled of sewage, the bathroom had a wall socket directly opposite the shower, and there was a large dirty hole in the ceiling. It felt like a waste of money and could be a health risk, so don't book here. I also suspect some reviewers, probably all the five-star ones, are fake. There's no reception or even space for one. When you enter, you may be lucky to reach your room because motorbikes are parked right against the door.

The host is so enthusiastic and can be reached almost any time, and there's always help when you need it. Staying here felt like being at home. I'd say it's the best experience around Hanoi, and I highly recommend it 🫶

The place feels green, quiet, and comfortable, with a different style in every corner. Staff are cheerful, sweet, and enthusiastic, and the friendly host is always thoughtful. It has a warm, close feeling.
