Fraser Suites Hanoi

There are plenty of restaurants around Fraser suites, and the Old quarters is only 10-12 minutes away by Grab. I’d choose this over staying right in the Old quarters if you’d rather avoid the tourist crowds and busy markets. The breakfast buffet was decent, and the staff were really friendly and extremely helpful. Service was amazing, whether you’re here for business or a holiday. I’ll stay here again on my next visit to Vietnam.

We had a great stay for the last three of our four nights, after the staff moved us from a noisy, outdated lower level suite into one of the towers. The bed was comfortable and the amenities suited the room well. There’s also a mall next door for groceries and other conveniences. The staff really made the stay for us, helping and looking after us after the first night. Those lower level rooms need updating or renovating to a better standard.

The executive studio we stayed in a few days before this visit was modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. It felt like a completely different hotel from the dated apartment we got this time. They upgraded our deluxe studio booking to a one bedroom apartment, but I would gladly have gone back to the studio if one had been available. The apartment felt depressing and badly outdated: the bedsheet had holes, wires stuck out in places, and dust clung to the exhaust. One side of the bed had no table or plug points, which was inconvenient. If you book, stick to tower B. Avoid A and C if you want a well maintained modern room, as those towers need serious renovation.

Syrena Mall is right within Frasers, with restaurants, marts, and Highlands Coffee, which was a great bonus. When we got back early, we often had dinner at Chicken Society, enjoying their chicken rice and drinks. We also used the shuttle to Old Quarter and Lotte Mall. Our villa room was spacious, very clean, and everything was changed daily. Housekeeping was top notch, the bed was comfortable, and the TV had good movie channels for late nights. Thanks to the staff for making last week in Hanoi such a good stay. We’ll be back.
