4/10
The staff were friendly, and I can't fault them. For the price, I gave it two stars, but the photos don't reflect what we found. There was dust from building work, drilling noise from upstairs, no bathroom door, something left in the fridge, and no window in the room. If you expect those things, then fine. I also wondered about the other reviews, since they seem to review this hotel and another luxury hotel in Hanoi.

The bed was comfy, and the room was clean and tidy. Mai was really kind and helped us a lot. I'd definitely recommend it.

I dropped off my luggage before check-in, which was no problem. When I came back, though, they said the room was being repaired and told me to cancel. That left me suddenly without anywhere to stay. Ridiculous and unprofessional.

A clean, affordable place, though it's pretty far from the Old Town.
