Golden Sun Palace Hotel

Everything was close by since the hotel’s right in the city, and I could get around easily on foot. The rooms were nice and clean, breakfast had lots of choices, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome, and I’d recommend it.

The Old Quarter setting was a big plus, with markets, restaurants, and attractions all easy to reach on foot. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well cared for, and the atmosphere felt cozy and relaxing. Breakfast had a decent selection, with smooth service throughout. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A special mention to Mr. Esa Hai at the front desk, who was professional, courteous, and ready to assist whenever I needed anything. Good value for a stay in a prime Hanoi location.

Tom at the Front Desk arranged an airport drop and booked us a day trip to Ninh Binh. The hotel also kept our luggage while we were away on the Ha Giang loop for 4 days. We even watched the Tet (Lunar New Year) fireworks from the rooftop. It’s in the Old Quarters, within walking distance of the lake and major sights. Our room was spacious and clean, breakfast was good, and I’d recommend staying here. I’d come back.

We had a roomy family room with 2 Queen beds, and the bathroom was spacious too. Breakfast was good, with freshly grinded watermelon and mango juice, plenty of local fruit including mango, banana, watermelon, and more. You could also order eggs made fresh to your choice or pho. Very good stay, in the Old Quarter fairly close to the lake.
