The rooms are spacious and reasonably clean, but there’s no proper ventilation, and the whole hotel smelled of cigarette smoke. We arrived late and got a room on the 5th floor. The corridor already had a strong smoke smell, and even after airing the room for half an hour, the odor inside was still bad. When we asked to switch rooms, the male receptionist was arrogant and reckless, with a lot of attitude. It took a 15-minute argument before he reluctantly agreed to move us to the 2nd floor. That room was a little better, but still not good. The receptionist’s behavior was the worst I’ve experienced, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The bed and pillows were probably the best I’ve had in this price range, and I slept better here than at any other hotel so far. The room was decent and the staff were great. It’s close to the airport, which is handy if you have an early flight and don’t want to get up early for a taxi.

The room was clean, the customer service was great, and it even had a fan like the one I have back home. The shower was super hot with strong pressure, and the AC was cold. It’s so convenient. I wish there’d been toilet paper, and road noise was a bit loud sometimes, though nothing crazy. Worth it!

It’s convenient to get here by taxi or Grab, and the drive to Hanoi International Airport takes 10 minutes. I’d highly recommend this hotel if you have an early flight. The room was clean and newly renovated, with a comfortable king-sized bed and a bathtub. The facilities were fine overall, though the kettle had dirty stains on it. The staff can converse in English.

A huge cockroach turned up in our room, and when I politely asked reception to move us, one receptionist looked upset and was extremely rude. He didn’t apologize and let out a big sigh. I know cockroaches can get in even when a room is clean because they’re everywhere, but how is that my fault? The replacement room wasn’t very clean either. At checkout I said “thank you,” but the rude receptionist was on his phone on the couch and didn’t even look at us. I’ll never use this hotel or recommend it to anyone. Everyone else we met in Vietnam was friendly, so this was the only bad part of my stay.
