Kuretake Inn Kim Ma 132 Hotel

The room is compact but cozy, with plenty of useful things and a convenient setup. The bathroom, though, has serious plumbing problems. The built-in bathtub doesn’t drain and you have to use it because it’s part of the shower. The sink won’t plug properly, and the floor drain looks really nasty, like it hasn’t been cleaned in over a year. The worst part was seeing hotel staff use the free public washing machine in the men’s bath to wash their floor mop. They do offer laundry service, but those washers and dryers are meant for HOUSE GUESTS, not mops! It’s Japanese style, but without the usual Japanese approach to service and housekeeping.

The breakfast was awesome, and I’m sure Japanese guests would be pleased with the food cooked by the Japanese chef. There’s also a free washing machine and dryer, so no need to worry about your clothes. I stayed for less than a month and found everything perfect overall. The one thing that made me uncomfortable was the language barrier. It was hard to have a conversation with some staff because their English was poor. Japanese guests don’t need to worry, though, since they speak Japanese.

My room was on the top floor, so I had a very nice view. It was high tech and had all the facilities, and the service was prompt with very polite staff. The hotel is right beside the main road, with all amenities close by.

The staff were so eager to meet guests’ needs, and their hospitality was unforgettable. We had a wonderful stay in the heart of Hanoi, and the breakfast was absolutely mesmerizing.
