Worst welcome ever. I came in to book a room and saw someone behind the desk talking with a customer. After the customer left, I stood three meters away and was ignored for five minutes. Then two women came to check in and he noticed them immediately. I followed them and the employee into the lobby, hoping he'd speak to me. A few minutes later he finally asked if I needed something, as if I'd only just arrived. By then I'd changed my mind about booking, so I pretended I had a question instead. He told me to wait outside and said I could sit on the stairs. I wondered if he thought I looked homeless. Maybe being a black man was enough. I asked three times to make sure I understood before he said I could use the chair in front of the desk. There was already a guest in the other chair, so I stayed standing. While the employee took his time coming back, I thought of something else to say and pretended I wanted to exchange the few baht, Thailand money, I had left. He changed it, and at least the exchange rate was great.

Tom deserves a special mention. His kindness, professionalism, and eye for detail made my stay memorable. The hotel is in the heart of Hanoi, making it easy to explore the lively streets and iconic landmarks. My room was spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. Everything was perfect, and I'd highly recommend staying here. I hope to return on my next trip.

The location made it easy to reach major attractions and public transportation, and the concierge team always had tips and recommendations. I was upgraded to a room with a stunning view after a smooth check-in. It was spacious, spotless, and nicely decorated, with the modern amenities I wanted, a very comfortable bed, complimentary water bottles, and a well-stocked minibar. Staff were welcoming and attentive from the moment I arrived. My stay at La Lisa Hotel surpassed what I expected, and I'd definitely return. The convenient location, comfortable room, and service made it a memorable visit.

The location is the real strength here. You're close to eateries, street food, and Hoan Kiem Lake, with so much within easy reach. Staff were helpful, and Long at the front desk was great. Rooms were cleaned daily, the fridge was cold, and the hotel stored our luggage while we waited for departure. The balcony-facing rooms could use better soundproofing, and the bathrooms need updating.

Be careful with The Sinh Tourist. My friend paid for a SIM card that was supposed to include 75gb of internet data for 300.000 vnd, but it didn't work at all. Staff told us to add money through the viettel app to use the data. When we asked for a refund, they refused, saying they didn't know about the issue.
