Love St Hanoi Hotel

Staff were quick to respond, friendly, and provided fast service. The room was clean and nice for a reasonable price, and the hotel was easy to find in a good location. The projector in the cinema room is old, so the picture isn't very clear.

They said there were no rooms for me, even though Agoda clearly showed several available, as you can see in my attached screenshot. The reception staff don't speak English. Bad hotel, bad reception. I wouldn't recommend it.

We chose this place for one night because it's conveniently between the airport and Hanoi city. Grab is good value, and it's also a pleasant 45-minute walk into town. Check-in was easy, the room was clean, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom and shower were fine, with plenty of warm water. The hotel felt quiet and fairly modern. Breakfast lets you choose from four local dishes, but drinks aren't included. At checkout we waited about 15 minutes for housekeeping to check the room. I understand why they need to do that, but the receptionist was on her phone and didn't tell us we could leave until we asked. We weren't in a hurry, though other guests may want to allow extra time in their schedule.

The lake view is the one special thing here. The rooftop has a nice view too, but barely any space to eat. The rooms are comfy and nice, though of course there's no view from them, which didn't matter to me. Service was so-so. Nobody helped with our luggage, which was difficult with all the steps at the entrance. There's no phone in the room to request service, so we had to go to the counter when we weren't given water bottles or needed help. Grab couldn't pinpoint the location, and there wasn't local food nearby. Further down, there's a yummy fried banana stall. The marts and convenience stores are quite far, and there's not much to walk around and see here. I wouldn't book again 😌 unless you want a quiet, peaceful area where you stay in your room, enjoy the bathtub 😎😎, and order Grab food 🤣😆.
