Olympus Old Quarter Hotel

Hein and Jimmy were so kind, caring, and helpful, and went out of their way to make our trip to Vietnam memorable. We booked several sightseeing trips through the hotel, and they were full of value and experiences we'll treasure. The room was lovely, maybe a little small, but every bit of space in this city seems to get used. Staying here was probably our best decision in Hanoi. I can't say enough about the staff.

The rooms are beautiful, the beds really comfortable, and everything was very clean. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. The staff were lovely, always smiling and attentive. Hien was especially friendly and did his best to make sure we had everything we needed. We recommend staying here and will come back for sure.

We stayed three nights at Lavender Hotel, right at the edge of the old quarter. Check-in went smoothly and the staff were very helpful. The room was a little tight for two, but we managed; it was clean and seemed recently refurbished. There was no window, yet it was quiet and we slept well. The beds were very comfortable, with a soft mattress. The young woman at reception, whose name I forgot, and manager Seven helped a lot with check-out. I'd recommend this hotel.

Jacky, the manager, was very helpful and friendly, and we enjoyed one of the hotel's trips to Sapa. We stayed four nights. Breakfast was nice, with a few options, and the room was clean and spacious. The only room issues were one robe for two people and the glass wall around the shower and toilet, though there were blinds to cover it. The staff were all great, if sometimes a bit too in your face. We also used the laundry before leaving. Two of our three bags came back perfect, smelling great and bone dry. The third was damp-smelling and wet in the middle, and the clothes were very creased. I'm sure they would have sorted it out if we'd had time. I'd stay again if I came back to Hanoi.
