The room itself was fine, but renovation work was underway and there was no reception, so there wasn't much to speak with anyone about. It also took them some time to respond and return the money they owed me.

You could only pay in cash, and the room was meant to be non-smoking, though I could still smell cigarette smoke, which was disappointing. The door was locked, but the number posted there could be contacted for instructions on how to get in. For the price, the room was in good shape, and I was happy with the clean bedding and bathroom.

The location was handy, about five minutes from the main road for buses and two minutes from the Chabad House, with kiosks and grocery shops across the way. There's a Chinese restaurant downstairs, and you enter the hotel through it. Room service is available, though there's no laundry service on site; there is an outside option. We found it hard to communicate in English and had to use Google Translate. We arrived around 8 pm, and the owner greeted us warmly and showed us two available room types. We picked one, then tried to book it through the app because the price looked lower. She wouldn't accept that and wanted cash, saying Aguda doesn't transfer the money to her. We stayed four nights. On the fifth morning, there was no water in the room from the start of the day until 9 am because of a problem in her area. It wasn't her fault, but we couldn't manage without water for the toilet or shower, so we moved elsewhere. The latecomer was understanding and waived that day's payment. The room was comfortable, spacious, and clean.

I stayed here last weekend and found the service really good, with a clean room too. If you want a meal nearby, 3H restaurant at 56 To Ngoc Van serves very delicious food.
