Train Street was about a five-minute walk away, and Ngọc Sơn Temple and Hỏa Lò Prison Relic were each around 15 minutes on foot. The location worked really well for us. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful whenever we needed something, and at check-in they gave us a useful map with restaurant and sightseeing suggestions. Our room was clean, comfortable, and a good size. Breakfast ran until 10 AM, with both Western choices and local Vietnamese dishes. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend it for Hanoi.

The team at Salute Premium made me feel welcome throughout my stay, from the front desk and bellhops to housekeeping and the attentive breakfast staff. Lewis at reception greeted me with a drink and fruit at check-in and was helpful the whole time. Anh, the waiter on 10th floor, even remembered what I liked for breakfast and was always sunny. I was very well looked after by a warm, professional crew, and I’ll definitely come back next time.

We stayed at Salute Premium Hotel & Spa three separate times, and the service exceeded my expectations on every visit. The staff really care and are happy to go the extra mile. Our Deluxe Double Room with City View was bright, spacious, and clean, and the hotel is only a short walk from lots of good restaurants. After three weeks traveling around Vietnam and comparing the hotels we stayed in, this one stood out. I’m so glad I chose it after reading reviews, and I’d happily return. Highly recommended.

We’d checked out three days earlier and were back in Hanoi between a two-night cruise in Ha Long Bay and a taxi to Ninh Binh. I cheekily asked Sally, the customer service manager, if the hotel could hold our bags while we explored for a few hours. They kindly did it for free. When we arrived, the staff hurried out to take the luggage and offer us a complimentary drink. That’s the kind of service we got throughout our stay at Salute Hotel, where they were always keen to carry our bags. Our flight changes due to the war in the Middle East meant we landed around 6 AM, much earlier than planned. I contacted the hotel through the booking . com app, and they arranged a room for the previous night at an extra cost so we could rest before moving to our booked room. Reception called around midday to say it was ready, earlier than the usual 2 PM check-in, and brought our luggage over. The whole arrangement was handled exceptionally well, and communication through the app before arrival was easy. The room was spotless and perfect for our stay, with lots of space, a massive, super comfortable bed, and a roomy bathroom with separate shower and bathtub. Breakfast was decent, with plenty of options, including choices for my vegan partner. The location was great too, less than a 10-minute walk to the heart of the Old Quarter, beer street, and Hoàn Kiếm Lake Lake.
