Sheraton Hanoi Hotel

The breakfasts were a pleasure, thanks in large part to Sam, who looked after me each morning with a friendly manner and real concern for my comfort. Chef Neeraj also went out of his way to prepare and pack authentic vegetarian Indian food for my lunch. The medu vada with sambar, coconut chutney, uttapam, poori with bhaji, and chole were delicious and brought back the feeling of home. His warmth and personal care meant a lot to me. I’m grateful to both of them and to the Sheraton Hanoi team. Sam and Chef Neeraj represent the hotel’s service commitment so well, and their care made my stay memorable. I’d recommend Sheraton Hanoi, especially to vegetarian travelers.

I enjoyed my first trip to Vietnam and might bring my family here next time. The grounds are well kept, with a nice pool and garden area. There are two main dining areas: one serves breakfast, then becomes an à la carte restaurant, while another offers an evening buffet. There’s also a great restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The lounge breakfast was delicious, and the staff handled a small issue quickly and professionally, which made me feel secure. They also let me check out late, at 4:00 PM, so I could relax until it was time to leave. I chose this hotel because it was the closest Marriott-affiliated property to Hanoi Old Quarter, and the location was very convenient. Nights were quiet and I slept well. The hotel and rooms were impeccably clean, with a calm, relaxing feel throughout. I’d definitely stay here again when I visit Hanoi.
