Splendid Pearlight Hanoi

Kimmie looked after us from the moment we booked and arranged our northern trips, including Sapa, ha giang loop, and ha long Bay cruise. The whole team was warm and really focused on making guests feel at home, like we mattered. A very good hotel with great service. Highly recommended!

Mr Bryan was especially helpful and arranged a Ha Long Bay cruise that we really enjoyed. The breakfast was generous and very good, and our room was spacious and comfortable, with a lift. The pool is a 15-minute walk away, but they covered the taxi, so that was fine. It's a very large indoor pool.

The location is good and the room was fine, and the staff were kind. But the listing isn't accurate about the pool: it's at a different hotel across the lake, a 15-minute trip away. When other guests bring up the distance, the manager offers a free airport transfer but still doesn't correct the listing. There are accessibility problems too. No lift, which I would have needed for the elderly family member travelling with me, and no cars can get close. We had to haul our luggage through several streets, and it was hard to tell a driver where to wait. The church bells were loud in the room and started at 0500 am. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but the misleading information outweighs the positives. I wouldn't have booked if I'd known about the stairs.

We came to Splendid Pearlight hotel in Hanoi for my fiancé's 30th birthday and really liked how quiet it was, tucked away from the main street but still just a short walk to the old quarters shops and restaurants. The rooms were lovely, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast had a fantastic selection. The staff were so helpful. After checkout, they even walked us to the Main Street with umbrellas so we could get a taxi.
