The Bloom Hanoi

The worst part was finding roaches night after night. We spotted THREE on the first night and told the staff the next morning. They said they'd come back to clean again and spray repellent, but we kept finding ROACHES every night. My grandmother was so worried one would crawl on her that we slept with the lights on. We asked for a partial refund. They offered a lunch voucher, which we turned down, and then a free ride to the airport, which we accepted. As we moved things around, we found dust and debris, so this felt like a place that only surface-cleans. They didn't seem to care about our comfort, just our money. Please spend extra for a cleaner, better hotel. Also, if you choose the free food option, you can only pick one menu item. We tried to order more and were told no, even though we were willing to pay for the extras. TERRIBLE stay.

I've stayed here a couple of times for work. It's a basic hotel with what you need for a longer stay, and the rooms are a decent size, though the layout can be hit or miss. Staff are polite and helpful, reply quickly on Zalo, and are accommodating with extra requests. Breakfast is okay, and the coffee is great.

The Agoda photos are accurate. I love this place. It's one of my best examples of money well spent.

The hotel breakfast was nice, especially the fried rice and white coffee. It's not a buffet, though. The room was clean, had a rice cooker, and the customer service was excellent, which made my vacation convenient. It's a bit far from the old quarter. We stayed from 10.09.2024 to 16.09.2024.
