The West Hotel & Spa

The staff made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, and that was the best part of our stay. Mike, Emma, Leo, Travis, and Kai were cheerful, kind, and genuinely caring. They went out of their way to make sure our family had what we needed. The whole team made the visit memorable, and we love you guys! xoxoxo We were five family members and had a Deluxe Queen, a Deluxe Twin that was upgraded for free, and a Family Room. Each room was a good size for the people staying in it. The central cooling kept the rooms consistently comfortable, and the air conditioning was the best we've had at any hotel in Vietnam. The shower water was warm and fine too. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty to choose from, enough to leave you in a food coma. There was something for everyone and it was a great start to the day. The hotel is right in the heart of Hanoi, within walking distance of just about everywhere, which made exploring easy. I'd highly recommend staying here when you visit.

The family double-bed room was surprisingly spacious, even though the area is narrow. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and Mike, the customer service agent, really went above and beyond. He answered our questions quickly, was accommodating throughout, and booked all our tours, which went flawlessly. At night you're right among the walking street markets, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. We had a great stay and would come back, and recommend it to others.

Emma at reception deserves a special thank you. She was friendly and attentive, spoke excellent English, and communicated clearly. She went out of her way to make me feel welcome throughout my stay. The West Hotel & Spa is in a perfect spot in Hanoi's Old Quarter, with everything within walking distance. At night, the neighborhood turns into a lively market, handy for shopping, street food, and soaking up the local atmosphere. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent. I'd highly recommend the hotel and would stay again on my next trip to Hanoi.

We chose a room away from the road, and it was very quiet. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with super-comfy beds. Breakfast was good too, with freshly made pancakes, pho, and eggs. Delicious! The staff were attentive and helpful, with great dining suggestions and ideas for local attractions. It's a great place in Hanoi's Old Quarter, within walking distance of lots of coffee shops, restaurants, and sights. Fabulous stay, and I'd definitely come back. Highly recommend.
