V-HOUSE 1 Serviced Apartment

I wouldn't stay here again. A rat runs around on the ceiling, and there's no security: the camera is fake. The Wi-Fi doesn't work reliably, especially on weekends. The electronic fee makes a long stay really expensive, and sometimes there's a blackout for 20 minutes. Even with all this inconvenience, they don't look after you, but still charge a lot in service fees.

I didn't actually stay at this location, I stayed at V-House 6 around the corner. On my first day I was dropped off here by mistake, and the girl at reception kindly walked me over since the places can be confusing. A few days later, after staying at V-House 6, I accidentally booked one night at V-House 1. Agoda wouldn't let me move the booking to 6, but the V-House managers let me use it at 6 instead. The staff were helpful and accommodating, and I'd stay there if I visited Hanoi again. The area feels rural, but it's near the Huge LOTTE center, a few miles from big C, and there's a Circle K right at the end of the street on the corner, which is handy.

For $13 a night, it's cheap and convenient, so I can't complain too much. There's no safe box, and the water pressure is very weak. The TV has no English channels, and everything is in Vietnamese.

I had a really wonderful stay here. The rooms are clean and modern, and the staff are friendly. I'll be back many times in the future.
