Bros Hotel

I only booked this because most hotels were full for the holidays. The price was very low, it was clean and fairly new, and I could walk to D1, including Bui Vien. I didn’t expect the large balcony, which was a nice surprise. But there were lots of mosquitoes, and the bed was so hard I could feel the springs. The bathroom was ridiculously tiny, barely enough room to fit inside, and the tinted glass front door let hallway light into the room.

The room didn’t look like the pictures or description on Booking, and honestly I’m not even sure it was the room I booked. There weren’t any other rooms available, so I had to stay. The walls are so thin you can hear everything the neighbors do, from watching TV to sneezing. Soundproofing is basically nonexistent, and the electricity also cuts out sometimes. The one good thing is the central location and the fact it’s open 24/7. I wouldn’t recommend it. Better to find another hotel.

Internet kept dropping, so I couldn’t rely on it for online meetings or other work tasks. Otherwise, this is a good budget place for a short stay. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, beds were comfy, and it’s tucked into a little alley away from traffic. You can walk to everything in D1.

The location is handy, walkable to Bui Vien Street, but still pretty quiet. The room was big and comfy, with a brand-new bathroom and a big TV.
