The room was awful. The bathroom and blankets were extremely dirty, and the bathroom door only opened halfway. There was no room service, and with everyone away on holiday and no staff around, I had to use the same towels and blankets for three days. I asked to move rooms and they refused. When I asked why they were taking guests if they weren’t going to work, or whether they wanted to charge me for doing nothing, they just repeated the same response like a parrot. This is an unmanned hotel, but getting in and out felt like an escape room. In Vietnam’s scorching weather, check-in took 20 minutes standing in the blazing sun, and you can’t even enter the building before it’s done. Every guest has to submit their visa and passport and get confirmation. With 10 guests, you have to wait outside until all 10 are checked in. Worst hotel of my life.

After waiting in the sun for almost an hour, I was asked to send even more information for another 15 minutes before I finally got check-in instructions. I’d booked through Agoda and never received them. I tried the customer service hotline more than a dozen times, then called the number on Google. They told me to add their Zalo customer service account. When I finally reached the room, it hadn’t been cleaned, and customer service then transferred me to the 3/2 branch. I was checking in 1.5 hours late and still got a poorly prepared room. Instead of helping after their mistake, they made more demands. It was a terrible experience. I usually book for business trips and don’t run into problems like this, and I don’t know how I’d explain this to customers.

The TV kept acting strangely. I’d be listening to music on YouTube, then it would connect to another device over Bluetooth and suddenly show a ghost image. It was really unsettling. The room was old and very dirty, and when I checked in, I got a different room type from the one I’d paid for. I booked and paid through Agoda, but when I asked about it, they said the room matched the details Traveloka had sent, as if it was my fault. When I complained about the dirt, the cleaner was rude, did a sloppy job, and spoke to me in a way that started an argument. The staff had a bad attitude too.
