Eastin Grand Hotel Saigon

The spa massage was wonderful. Breakfast at the buffet was great, and room service and the bar were good too. It’s a huge hotel with fast Wi-Fi, though the prices were higher than at other hotels we stayed in. The room was good but the decor felt a bit dated, and a newer TV with streaming services would have been nice.

We visited as a family group, and everyone was thoroughly impressed. The staff were helpful and accommodated our needs. The buffet breakfast was one of the best I’ve had, with a huge selection of cuisines. Every part of the hotel felt top class. Definitely recommended.

The price seemed fair for a five-star hotel in Saigon, especially given that it’s some distance from the city center and tourist spots. We thought the hotel was great quality and a good choice for travelers. The spa was a letdown. We had a treatment on our first night, and the quality wasn’t impressive. The therapists tried to persuade us to change treatments to spend more, then halfway through mine, tried to sell me an add-on too. That took away from having a peaceful spa experience on vacation. We stayed at other five-star hotels during our Vietnam trip, and this spa was well below them for quality and service.

Tung Restaurant served incredibly fresh, delicious food. The wonton soup dim sum was the standout, absolutely superb. The hotel itself was impressively clean and spacious. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always greeting us with bright, genuine smiles.
