The woman running the place was lovely, but I wouldn't use her to arrange trips or buses. I booked the Cu Chi tunnels tour through her, and the pickup was almost an hour late. The driver seemed to think I shouldn't be there. I also booked a bus to Cambodia with her and missed it. She told me to wait at her shop while she got ready, then blamed me for us being late. I was moved to the 8:45 bus with no apology, and told it was because I was late. If you need to get somewhere on time, use another company.

The family running the place were really friendly, and being able to book different tours and buses through them was convenient. It's good value, with a great location for getting around on foot, and I'd happily stay again. The only downside was loud music from the party street until around 3 a.m. There isn't much that can be done about it.

I stayed for five nights. The hotel itself does the job, with an elevator, shower and the basics. If you arrive late, you may need to ring the doorbell for staff to let you in. That wasn't mentioned in our booking. The staff were hospitable, especially the little man, who was a pleasure to talk to. I didn't get his name, but he made the stay more memorable. The downside was music blaring until 3 a.m. every night.

We were here for about two weeks in late April on business, getting to know the area. The location worked really well, and the staff and hotel manager were friendly and amazing. They gave us useful recommendations and advice and were always ready to help. Bak was particularly attentive and friendly, and the women in the downstairs office were wonderful and helpful. There's a party street nearby, so keep that in mind if you're a light sleeper. I prefer some noise and am used to it, so it suited me. Their generosity and kindness deserve an even higher rating. I'd stay again and recommend the place to others.
