The location was great, close to Statue of Ho Chi Minh and Saigon Central Post Office. Our room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and really helpful. I was very pleased with the stay and hope to come back.

I’ve been staying here on trips to HCM for more than five years. It’s no luxury hotel, but the room is clean and comfortable. The air con works well, the bathroom has strong hot water pressure, and the bed is neither too soft nor too hard. The linens are clean, which matters most to me. The location is great too, with all kinds of good food just a 1 to 10 minute walk away.

The Empress Hotel is in the central part of the city, and I could walk to the restaurant and bar area in under 20 minutes. It seems set up for business trips, with steady Wi-Fi, plenty of plugs for devices, and a wide range of TV channels. Those things worked really well for me. I’d choose it again if I visit.

In the evening, a flock of red-breasted parrots roosts in the trees in front of the hotel. They’re a treat to see. The rooms were very clean, the staff friendly, and breakfast was good. I’d stay again.
