Golden Star Hotel & Apartment

I got a complimentary coffee in the morning, which was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and polite, and there are lots of cafes and restaurants along the wide streets nearby. The hotel itself was clean and beautiful, and my room looked even nicer than the photo.

I liked how far removed this place felt from everything. The quiet location meant there was no noise, and it felt safe. The downside is that the block gets very dark and there's hardly anything around, with major places a long way off. The place itself was nice and clean, and the staff were attentive and spoke some English.

I came to Vietnam mainly to visit my younger brother and wanted somewhere I could properly slow down. Golden Star Apartment gave me that calm, quiet break, especially at night. Of all the hotels I've stayed in, this was the quietest. It's a bit far from the city center, but I slept and rested much better for it. The neighborhood is close to the Korean district, with plenty of good barbecue restaurants, jjimjilbangs, and massage places. It was easy to settle into a relaxed routine of eating well, walking, and resting without rushing. There were a few small issues at the start, but the staff responded quickly and fixed things. They were sincere and supportive throughout. When I had questions or concerns, the front desk did their best to help, which made my stay feel reassuring and warm. If you want a slower, more lived-in kind of trip, this apartment and neighborhood are lovely choices. I'd happily stay here again on a future visit to Vietnam.

We spent a week here and had a very pleasant stay. We picked D7 on purpose for a quieter pace, and that's what we got. The hotel is on a calm street, with convenience stores and restaurants an easy walk away, plus a cute cafe bar and seating downstairs. Our room was spacious and clean. We only needed it serviced when we put the sign out, and they always left fresh towels and water outside the door even on other days. The laundry service was nice too. Great service.
