The last four nights were comfortable in a replacement room, after we reached an agreement with the hotel to move there at a much lower rate. Finding other accommodation was difficult, so we stayed. Earlier, a mouse had appeared again when I moved the fridge in our original room, after I'd already found dust under the bed and a used condom wrapper under the mattress within 30 seconds of checking. That made it clear the room hadn't been thoroughly cleaned, despite being told it had. The first mouse came out from under furniture around dinner time. We reported it and were moved for that night, but the next morning reception said we had to leave that room and return to the original one because it had been cleaned and pest control had been called. I didn't believe pest control had come. If it had, I didn't think the room should be made available immediately afterward, given the possibility of toxic gases. The original room also had a broken balcony door that wouldn't close and a partly flooded small terrace because the drain was clogged. We tried to stay calm, but the handling of this was unacceptable and undermined our confidence in housekeeping and management. We were there five nights in total. The hotel is well organised, the rooms are attractive, and staff were polite. We saw three rooms during the stay. The hotel and rooms are pleasant, but the cleanliness and pest issue were alarming. If housekeeping hasn't changed since the past three months, I'd advise checking the whole room carefully at check-in. I'm not sure it's worth the risk. Oct 29 - Nov 3 2025

Our room was spacious, new, and very clean, and the reception staff were friendly and lovely. Khoi, the male receptionist, stood out. The hotel is in the center of district 1, so getting around is convenient. It's down a small alley, but not far from the main road, and it was very quiet at night. I'll definitely stay here again when I return.

The host and cleaning staff were both really nice, and we had a very comfortable stay. The room was lovely, nicely decorated, and had all the amenities. It can be a little hard to find because the lane is narrow, but it's right next to Watson.

I was happy with my choice for a longer stay. The room was clean and comfortable, the internet worked well, and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. It's also a great base for walking to the central tourist spots.
