GRAND HOTEL du LAC Boutique Saigon

Anna,Kelly and Mary were thoughtful, generous, and so kind. Their service was the best I’ve experienced at any hotel anywhere. The property and service are both amazing, and the location is right across from ben thranh market. This was the best service of my whole vietnam trip. I’ll always come back whenever I’m in hcmc!

The rooftop bar was a lovely, chilled place to spend the evenings, and breakfast was good too. We stayed at the Hotel du Lac for our last three nights in Vietnam and had a really good time. The staff were helpful and friendly from start to finish. Its spot beside the markets, shops, and cafés worked perfectly for us, with The Post Office and Bui Vien about a 10-15 minute walk or a quick Grab ride away. We had an internal-facing room, which might not suit everyone, but we liked that it was quiet and stayed dim in the morning. Views aren’t likely to be great unless you’re on a high floor, but that didn’t bother us. We’ll miss the place.

The room was great, the food was delicious, and the hospitality was hard to beat. Katie and Leah arranged transportation, handled our special requests, and were professional and courteous throughout. They were available around the clock. Anna welcomed us and was excellent as well. Many thanks to Katie, Leah, and Anna. I highly recommend the hotel and will definitely return.

We had a fantastic four-night stay in a really central spot, right in the middle of everything we wanted in the city. The first night our air conditioning wasn’t working properly. An engineer came by, but when it couldn’t be fixed that evening, the front desk quickly moved us to another room. The next morning Ms Kati Ng arranged for us to stay there, and our luggage was brought over. All the staff were wonderful throughout. I’ve seen complaints that it isn’t five-star, but for this price you shouldn’t expect Mandarin Oriental or Four Seasons style, especially somewhere this central. I’d happily stay again and recommend it.
