Hong Vinh Hotel

Hong Vinh Hotel was a good experience for us. Our room was clean and had towels, and the woman who welcomed us was always smiling and kind. She let us check in early without a charge and even gave us water for free. The only thing missing was a window or balcony.

We knew from booking.com that it was cash only, so we came prepared. The stay was a really good price and ended up exceeding my expectations. It's a small, family-run place in a handy spot for exploring Ho Chi Minh City, close to restaurants, bars, and cafés, yet still quiet. The hosts work hard and are friendly and helpful. My room and bathroom were very clean. There was no window in the room, which helped keep it quiet.

The room had no window, which was the downside. Otherwise, the hotel is basic but very clean, with great showers and Aircon. Its central spot is handy for tourist activities, right next to walking street.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was good. But during our four-day stay they never made it up or changed the towels, even after saying they would. You can only pay cash at checkout, and the shower had no hot water in the morning. For a similar price, there are better choices in the area.
