Le Petit Sai Gon Hotel

The room was much noisier at night than we expected, and its actual condition was far from what had been presented. The owner was rude, tricked us about our booking, and showed very little basic respect. The staff and place were terrible. Choose another hotel if you have the option.

Right on Bui Vien, so it’s a handy spot if you want to be close to the nightlife. It can get loud, but I enjoy that scene. The rooms are a little dated, though they were clean, and the elevator worked well. At $15 a night, it’s always hard to judge, but I thought it was good value.

As a native Saigonese, I found the service here very poor. I was on the phone with Expedia trying to sort out a reservation issue with the hotel when the woman who answered was rude and hung up on us. We called again, but she didn’t pick up. Avoid this place if you don’t want a tremendous headache dealing with people who don’t value your business.

The place was filthy, and the staff were arrogant and extremely rude. There was no customer service at all. They treated us like garbage. Please avoid it, there are plenty of other hotels in the area that can accommodate you better.
