M Village Hotel Tao Dan Park

It was easy to explore the city on foot from this affordable, well located hotel. My room was modern, clean, and comfortable. The staff were helpful, and they can keep your luggage if you arrive before check-in or need to leave it after checkout. That made it easy to enjoy the day without carrying our bags.

I stayed at M Village Tao Đàn Park for 10 days. The staff’s attitude and professionalism were what I appreciated most. Everyone greeted me warmly each day, even the cook, who wished me a nice day. Housekeeping were thoughtful in the corridors, always greeting me and waiting for the next elevator when they were carrying equipment. As a solo traveler, I noticed and appreciated those small gestures. Ms. Nhi, my housekeeper, kept the room impeccable and left lovely handwritten notes. Staff don’t always wear name tags. It wasn’t a problem, though I would have liked to know the names of people who went out of their way to help. The room was bright, had plenty of power points, and a very comfortable bed, which suited a longer stay. Communication through apps was convenient and efficient. After I got out of the taxi, security immediately carried my luggage up the long flight of steps from street level to the ground floor, then accompanied me by lift to reception on the first floor. Check-in was smooth, and although I arrived early, I was shown to my room about 15 minutes later. Breakfast was enjoyable and good quality, though on a few days it began 5-8 minutes late. It was a small thing and didn’t affect my experience. The three washing machines and three dryers are on the 11th floor, open from 9am to 9pm. That timing can be awkward since it overlaps with the hours guests are out, and evenings get busy. Staff offered some non-monetary alternatives, which was kind of them, though I chose not to accept because it would have meant extra work for them. I had a very good stay and strongly recommend M Village Tao Đàn. Staff may occasionally say “no,” but they offer workable, satisfactory alternatives. Their hospitality and attention to detail made the place special.

I liked the peaceful setting, which was still close enough to walk to the city center, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and good, with eggs made to order. The modern self-service washers and dryers were really handy. It would be useful to have somewhere in the room or bathroom to hang laundry, though. I improvised a little, but a drying rack would help with clothes you don’t want to put in the machine. It was a great fit for my needs. Thank you!

I’ve stayed at several M Village properties as a loyal fan and recently reached Platinum status. The Tao Đàn Park location kept up the standard I’ve come to expect. There are great restaurants nearby and Ben Thanh Market is a pleasant 15-minute walk away. Check-in was easy, and the kind, efficient receptionist greeted me by name, a classy touch. The room wasn’t the most spacious, which makes sense given the prime location, but it was comfortable and well appointed. As at other M Villages, staff support over WhatsApp was excellent. They replied promptly and helped with whatever I needed. One thing that could be more convenient is Grab Food delivery. Drivers seem reluctant to take the lift to the first-floor lobby, so guests have to go down to collect orders. A secure delivery box or a way to bring orders to the room might help. Still, it was another wonderful stay. After checkout, the woman who assisted me reminded me to take my passport and belongings, something very few staff do. Well done! Edit: Just checked out, props to the lady that assisted me with check out; she is one of the very few that reminded me to not forget my personal belongings and passport. - well done!
