The concierge team really made our week at Mai House Saigon. They handled everything we asked for and even tracked down a specific product we couldn’t find ourselves. You can tell they care, and that kind of help is rare. The rest of the staff were warm and helpful too, and every penny for our weeklong stay felt worth it. We loved the spacious, beautiful rooms, which were kept spotless each day. Breakfast had lots of choices, all fresh and delicious. The hotel is near many of Saigon’s well-known tourist spots, with one of the museums we visited within walking distance and plenty of places to eat nearby. There was a pianist in the lounge in the evenings. We spent one night just listening and relaxing, which was lovely and memorable. The hotel also smells incredible everywhere, a small detail that adds to the luxurious feel. The bar lounge on the 14th floor is cozy, with good food and a nice atmosphere. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had two club rooms, both spacious. One smelled odd, but the staff quickly brought in room refresher and an air purifier. The other room was perfect, with a bathtub and luxurious bath accessories. The hotel’s interior feels both comfortable and luxurious, and the breakfast buffet catered nicely to vegetarians and vegans. From arrival through departure, communication, service, and attention to detail were impeccable. The best touch was the breakfast boxes staff prepared for checkout. We had to leave at 5 a.m. for an early flight, so they were a lifesaver. My family and I had a wonderful stay at Mai House Saigon Hotel, and we truly appreciate everyone who helped make it enjoyable.

Maihouse Saigon was an elegant, sophisticated setting for our company’s Year End Party (YEP) on January 30th. The event went smoothly, and the team handled our requests promptly and with a smile. Special thanks to Mr. Huy and Ms. Hang from the Banquet team for their professionalism, support, and attention to detail. They clearly care about the client experience. I highly recommend Maihouse Saigon for corporate events, and we look forward to coming back. From Duyên - Techbase

The room looked modern and clean, but there were stains on the duvet, the scent was intensely perfumed, and the room felt incredibly humid. Hot water was only lukewarm, and the water pressure was very weak. For a 5* hotel, and one of the highest rated, I found it disappointing. I understand standards differ by country, but hotels should cover the basics guests need to feel comfortable. We stayed at a 4* hotel in Quy Nhon that was much better and cost a fraction of the price. I’d skip this one and book somewhere else.

I picked this hotel for my birthday after nearly choosing Landmark 81, because I liked the interior. Before arriving, I contacted them myself since I never got the usual email confirming the reservation and welcoming me. I mentioned my birthday and asked about airport transport. They sent me some questions, including about allergens, then replied with prices. At check-in, the manager asked about my allergies and said they’d arrange a cake, asking whether raspberries were okay. I thanked him. On my birthday I was out most of the day. When I got back in the evening to get ready for dinner, there was no treat, just a note asking me to come down because my room key hadn’t been set up for the Executive Lounge. The same manager wished me happy birthday and fixed the card, but it was nearly 6 p.m. and still no cake. I called downstairs. The woman who answered seemed confused that it was my birthday and said she’d look into it. Concierge usually note important dates for guests, and this put a damper on the day. The cake finally came while I was dressing for dinner, an awkward time. The manager never called to apologize. I didn’t eat it because I went out, and the restaurant’s cake and complimentary wines made up for it. Service felt very lacking for a 5 star hotel. This has never happened to me at another 5 star hotel where I was celebrating my birthday. I also wasn’t given a Do Not Disturb placard, so housekeeping kept knocking while I was getting ready or napping. I only realized I didn’t have one a couple of days before leaving. They never vacuumed, which I found odd. At the front, all but one of the security staff barely opened the car or hotel doors, and seemed to choose when to do it for guests. I went down to tip the one man who did his job consistently, but the shifts had apparently changed. When I asked the Concierge on duty if he was still there and whether I could see him, he got irritated and gruffly asked why I wanted to talk to him. Strange. I said never mind and went upstairs. The Junior Suite was okay, but I didn’t like that there was no door between the bathroom and bedroom. I hadn’t noticed that in the online photos. The pillows were so soft they flattened when I lay down. It’s a pretty hotel, but I won’t return. Service matters, and this fell flat. I stayed an extra day, but the suite wasn’t available, so I booked a suite at a nearby 4 star hotel. That place gave me the service I expect from a 5 star hotel. They reached out right away with airport transport details and costs, and answered my request for an earlier check-in. They also made me a breakfast box since my 6 a.m. flight meant I couldn’t have the buffet. The rooms were too small for me, but service there was night and day different.
