We stayed here a few days with the family on vacation. It's a pretty old building, but the staff kept it clean and were very hospitable, even though we don't speak Vietnamese. The breakfast buffet was nice, and it's fairly close to the city center and its landmarks.

Set among the old trees and greenery, this place feels like a retreat from the modern urban landscape and the bustle of the city. The old and new buildings make a nice colonial, farm-style complex. The facilities are moderately good for the deal you get, and the main attractions aren't too far away.

The buffet has a variety of food, and the location is close to the center with easy access. I stayed four days and found the staff very friendly. The rooms were exceptionally clean and maintained to a high standard, and it has the best security in town. I highly recommend staying here in Ho Chi Minh.

Street noise is really loud at all hours, with a hospital 150 meters down the road and ambulance sirens constantly. The restaurant staff argued with me about the coffee. They'd made one pot at 6am, and with few customers it was still half full two hours later. It tasted disgusting, like nothing a human should drink, but they thought it was delicious and wouldn't make a fresh pot.
