Everything I needed was nearby, from the walking street and night market to clothing shops, spas, and food stalls. Mỹ Anh 120 Sài Gòn is a decent low-cost pick for a short visit, and the staff were friendly and really helpful. The room was basic but fine for the price. I stayed 10 days. Just be aware there’s no elevator, which could be a hassle with heavy bags or on an upper floor.

Dan’s Wash & Stay at 185/10 Pham Ngu Lao was a handy find: it’s open 24 hours, costs 30K per load, and washing and drying took less than an hour. I liked staying around Pham Ngu Lao too. There are food stalls, cafes, and small hotels all within an easy walk. It’s a lively backpacker area, but I still felt safe exploring it.

The owners made both visits easy, helping with our changing plans, sharing local tips, and arranging transport and trips. I stayed for a few days in November and again in December 2025. The hotel is simple and clean, and I’m glad the older reviews didn’t put me off after it changed ownership a while ago. I’ll choose it first when I’m back in the city.

Our first hotel was overbooked when we got into HCM late, so we went to My Anh. The people there took such good care of us and were very helpful. It’s a great place, away from the noise.

The hotel is in a good spot and felt peaceful and proper. Staff gave me useful advice for my first OCM experience. I enjoyed staying there and will keep the address.
