Republic Apartments Saigon Airport

We gave up looking for the right place in the city centre and booked this Holiday Inn near the airport instead. It worked out really well. The hotel feels fairly new, and the rooms and service met the usual IHG standard. Getting downtown still took only about 10-15 minutes by Grab, despite the airport location. The hotel shuttle to the airport was convenient too. Good value for the money, and I'd recommend it.

The staff were super friendly, and the room had coffee with a machine plus lots of bathroom amenities. We stayed two nights and had a huge breakfast buffet each morning. We also paid extra for the seafood buffet one evening, which had plenty of variety. This is a great place to stay if you need to be near the airport. There is a shuttle, but its limited schedule meant we couldn't use it for either airport trip. Grab pickup and drop-off were easy, so it wasn't a big problem.

The gym had a good mix of weights and cardio equipment, and I liked having a drinking water dispenser in the corridor. Staff were helpful and pleasant throughout. I was here for three nights on business, and being close to SGN Airport saved time and avoided the heavy traffic to the city centre where many hotels are. As an IHG Diamond Elite member, I was upgraded to a one-bedroom suite overlooking the pool. It was quiet and comfortable compared with rooms facing the road.

After two busy weeks traveling around Vietnam, this was a welcome chance to slow down. We booked two nights and spent a whole day relaxing by the beautiful pool, which wasn't crowded. The beds were very comfortable, the room was clean, and every employee we met was kind and helpful. We tried both breakfast and dinner at Manja Manja, and both meals were incredible and worth the higher price. They had everything we needed for a great stay. If you're unsure, I'd highly recommend booking here.
